I. Publishing Scope

The journal welcomes articles of the latest results obtained from basic research, applied research and major projects carried out in the fields of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and New Energy, Oil and Gas Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information and Control Engineering, Management and Mathematical Sciences, etc.

 

II. Requirements for Manuscripts

(1) Manuscripts should be novel in topic selection, informative, logical, standardized in language and punctuation, and with reliable in data. The word count of the article should be between 6000 and 8000 words. Literature cited in the article should be properly referenced and checked for accuracy. The title and abstract of the article should be accompanied by an English translation.

(2) If the article has any funding background (such as fund projects, etc.), please indicate (with the project code). Priority will be given to publication of articles funded by provincial funds or above. The editorial department will give certain APC reduction for the articles financed by the national fund or above.

(3) Requirements of the author's profile: please provide the name, working institution and department, province, city (autonomous region), name of the institution's location and specific address, postal code, contact phone (mobile phone), e-mail address, date of birth, gender, title, main research directions.

(4) Abstract and keywords: The abstract should be 150-300 words, and should objectively reflect the main content of the articles, self-contained and with independence, as a condensed version of the content of the articles. Keywords are noun terms reflecting the main content of the articles, and generally 3~8 of them should be listed.

(5) Requirements for references and notes: At least 15 references should be listed according to the standard format of the national standard.

 

III. Submission Guide

(1) Please visit: http://journal.lnpu.edu.cn to submit online. Any submission to the journal is deemed to comply with the agreement of the "Submission Guidelines".

(2) The author of the articles guarantees that the articles are his/her original works, that there are no academic misconduct behaviors such as multiple submissions, and that there is no leakage of confidentiality due to intellectual property rights or confidential scientific research projects. The author of the articles will be responsible for any infringement of intellectual property rights or leakage of confidentiality.

(3) If the authors do not receive any notification from the editorial department within 100 days since submission, the manuscript can be submitted to another journal after notifying the editorial department.

(4) Authors should be aware that the journal is fully open access (OA), any opinion against it should be declared when submitting the manuscript.

(5) After the acceptance of the manuscript, authors are required to sign the 'Copyright Transfer Agreement' to transfer the copyright of articles to the Editorial Department of Journal of Liaoning Petrochemical University. In addition, authors are required to fill out and sign the 'Authors' Declaration Form' to disclose the potential conflict of interest and each author's personal contribution to the research.

 

IV. Fees

(1) The journal does not charge review fee.

(2) After the acceptance of the manuscript and before the first publication, the author of the articles should pay a one-time APCs to the editorial department. APCs are charged at the following standard: 600 RMB/article (for manuscripts from the university), 1000 RMB/article (for manuscripts from outside the university). If the editorial department publishes the articles in other forms, the authors of the articles need not pay again.

(3) After the articles are published in the printed version of Journal of Liaoning Petrochemical University for the first time, the authors of the articles will receive a one-time remuneration from the editorial department (including the copyright transfer fee) and two sample journals of the current issue. If the editorial department publishes the articles in other forms, the authors of the articles will not be remunerated again.
