Abstract: A series of amphoteric copolymers (AM/DAC/AMPS, denominated AMACAS series) by using acrylamide (AM), acryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride (DAC) and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS) as raw material were prepared by a free radical polymerization in water solution using 2,2'-azobis［2-(2-imidazolin-2-yl)propane］ dihydrochloride as a initiator. The structure of AM/AMPS/DMC were confirmed that the composition of AM/AMPS/DMC accorded with the feed composition by FT-IR and elemental analysis. Solution properties of amphoteric copolymers demonstrate that the viscosity of AMASAC-5-5, which had optimum charge density and similar amount of anions and cations, increased with ［NaCl］ increasing. The viscosity retention rate of AMASAC-5-5 enhanced 45.6% after high temperature ageing. Thus, AMASAC-5-5 possesses salt tolerance and temperature resistance.

摘要： 以丙烯酰胺(AM)、丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵(DAC)和2 -丙烯酰胺-2 -甲基丙磺酸(AMPS)为原料, 以2 , 2 -偶氮二[ 2 -(2 -咪唑啉-2 -代)丙烷] 二氢氯化物(VA -044)为引发剂, 在水溶液中合成了AM/ DAC/ AMPS 系列两性共聚物(简称AMACAS 系列)。对共聚产物进行红外光谱和元素分析表征, 结果表明共聚物组成与投料比相近。对两性共聚物的溶液性能进行测定, 结果显示电荷密度适当且阴、阳离子比例接近1 的两性聚合物(AMACAS -5 -5)溶液粘度随着NaCl 浓度的增大而增大, 且高温老化后粘度保留率达45 .6 %, 说明其具有一定的耐盐、抗温能力。
