B r ö n s t e d酸性离子液体催化合成硬脂酸异辛酯

Synthesis of 2Ethylhexyl Stearate Using Brnsted Acidic Ionic Liquid as Catalyst

摘要: 以硬脂酸和异辛醇为原料, B r ö n s t e d酸性离子液体为催化剂, 合成硬脂酸异辛酯, 考察反应条件和催 化剂重复使用情况。结果表明, 在反应温度1 5 0℃, 反应时间6h, 酸醇物质的量比1∶1. 4, 离子液体与硬脂酸物质的 量比为1∶2 5时, 酯化率高达9 6. 9%, 产品酸值小于0. 5m g( KOH) / g。反应结束后, 产物和催化剂分层, 通过简单的 倾倒即可分离, B r ö n s t e d酸性离子液体经真空干燥回收后可重复使用, 且循环使用6次后, 催化活性基本不变。

Abstract: 2Ethylhexyl stearate was synthesized by esterification of stearic acid with 2ethylhexanol using Brnsted acidic ionic liquid as catalyst. The conditions of the synthesis and the recycling capability of the catalyst were investigated. The results indicated that Brnsted acidic ionic liquid possessed high catalytic activity for the esterification reaction. The optimal synthesis conditions were as follows: the reaction temperaturewas at 150 ℃, the reaction time was 6 h, the molar ratio of stearic acid to 2ethylhexanol was 1∶1.4, and the molar ratio of catalyst to stearic acid was 1∶25. On this condition, the conversion rate was up to 96.9% and the acid value of the product was smaller than 0.5 mg(KOH)/g. After the reaction, the ester could be simply decanted out from the ionic liquid, and the ionic liquid could be reused after removal of water under vacuum. The activity of the catalyst remained at a high level after reuse of six cycles. 
