Investigation of CrudeOil Temperature Distribution in the Storage Tank Based on FLUENT

摘要:  储罐内原油温度的变化对准确计量原油容积影响较大, 原油温度分布对整个库区的安全管理和生产运行也有极其重要的意义。从储罐内原油温度分布着手, 采用F LUENT数值模拟的方法研究了储罐中心截面处不同位置的原油温度, 得到了降温过程中的温度分布规律。结果表明, 在降温的初始阶段, 近罐壁处温度迅速下降, 原
油高温区位于截面中心偏上的两个矩形区域; 当储罐内的原油温度场趋于稳定而尚未达到稳定时, 高温区则位于罐中心底部和截面中心的连通区域; 当储罐内原油温度场处于稳定状态时, 高温区最终稳定停留在罐中心底部区域。

Abstract: Accurate measurement on the volume of crudeoil is influenced by the change of oil temperature, the temperature distribution in the storage tank also has a very important significance on the tank safety management and operation. Starting with crudeoil temperature distribution in the storage tank, crudeoil temperature distribution of different locations on central crosssection in the storage tank was analyzed through the numerical simulation based on FLUENT. The results show that the temperature near the tank wall dropped rapidly at first at this early stage of temperature decrease, and the high temperature region was located in tow rectangular zones above the center of the section, presented two rectangular area. When the temperature field was tending towards stability, the high temperature region moved to the connection region in the bottom of the tank and the center of the section. Finally the high temperature region stayed in the bottom of the tank.
