Abstract: The factor analysis is a multivariate statistical method.The purpose of the method is transforming multiple measured variables into a few disrelated comprehensive indexes.The factor analysis of many economical indexes was preformed in this paper based on the statistical data of economy development in Liaoning province in 2000，2005 and 2010. The economy development levels in fourteen cities were analyzed and evaluated and the corresponding policies on the economy development and decisionmaking for each prefecturelevel city in Liaoning province were suggested.

摘要： 因子分析是将多个实测变量转换为少数几个不相关的综合指标的多元统计方法。以2000年、2005
年以及2010年辽宁省各城市统计数据为基础,运用因子分析方法对辽宁省14个城市的经济发展情况进行了综合分
析和评价,并为辽宁省今后的经济发展规划提出了具有针对性的建议和对策。
