Effect of Water Cut on Rheological Properties of HZ253 Crude Oil with Emulsions

摘要: 从海底开采出的惠州2 5 - 3原油含水率相当高, 为了确保其顺利输送, 有必要研究含水率对惠州2 5 - 3原油流变性的影响。配制了与现场黏度相近的惠州2 5 - 3原油乳状液, 通过实验研究了惠州2 5 - 3原油乳状液的凝点、 黏度、 屈服应力及触变性与含水率的关系。结果表明, 惠州2 5 灢 3原油乳状液的凝点在一定范围内随着含水率的增加而增加; 黏度、 屈服应力随着含水率的增加先缓慢上升, 随后急剧上升; 触变性随含水率的增加而增强。

Abstract: HZ253 crude oil extracted from the offshore fields incorporates high water content. For its smooth transportation, it is necessary to investigate the effect of water cut on the rheological properties of the crude. Emulsions with different water cuts for which viscosity was controlled equal to that of filed samples were well prepared in the lab. And thus the gel point, viscosity, yield stress and thixotropy for HZ253 crude oil with W/O emulsions under different water cuts were measured, respectively. The experimental results show that the gel point increases with the increasing water cut within the investigated ranges. Viscosity and yield stress both increase slowly first and then faster with the water cut increases. In addition, thixotropy is intensified with the increasing water cut.
