Preparation of Cordierite Honeycomb Al2O3 Coating by Microwave Heating Method

摘要: 采用微波加热法在堇青石蜂窝陶瓷基体表面涂覆多孔 A l 2O3 涂层, 研究了制备条件对堇青石蜂窝陶
瓷表面 A l 2O3 涂层中 A l 2O3 的质量分数的影响。通过B E T、 S EM 对涂层结构及形貌进行了表征, 结果表明, 采用微
波加热法制备的 A l 2O3 涂层均匀、 稳定, 具有较大的比表面积、 孔容和较高的 A l 2O3 质量分数。

Abstract: The porous alumina washcoat coating on cordierite honeycomb was prepared by microwave heating method. The effects of different preparation parameters on the loading, crystal composition, and pore structure of the alumina coating were studied, and then the alumina washcoat prepared was characterized by BET and SEM tests. The results indicate that the alumina washcoat prepared by microwave heating method is stable and uniform with higher Al2O3 weight ratio, larger surface area and pore volume.
