CuCl⁃Promoted C-O Cross Coupling of p⁃Methyl Bromobenzene and Phenol

摘要: 研究了一种合成1⁃甲基⁃4⁃苯氧基苯的方法,在碱为K3PO4、反应溶剂为1,4⁃二氧六环、反应温度为110 ℃、反应时间为12.0 h的条件下,CuCl催化对甲基溴苯和苯酚,构建新的C-O,实现偶联反应。反应有较强的选择性,在最佳的反应条件下可以获得1⁃甲基⁃4⁃苯氧基苯的收率为72%。进一步利用核磁共振(NMR)对其产物1⁃甲基⁃4⁃苯氧基苯进行表征,确认目标产物结构。

Abstract: A method for synthesis of 1⁃methyl⁃4⁃phenoxybenzene was studied. Using p⁃methyl bromobenzene and phenol were catalyzed by CuCl, K3PO4 was used as a base, 1,4⁃dioxane was used as reaction solvent and the reaction was carried out at 110 ℃ for 12.0 h to construct a new C-O bond and achieve coupling reaction. The reaction showed strong selectivity and the yield was 72% under the best reaction conditions. The structure of the target product 1⁃methyl⁃4⁃phenoxy benzene was further characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
